gridblink — an oddly satisfying memory game for Reddit. How many taps can you get in a row? Combine sight and sound as nine circles light up and sing pentatonic tones that change daily. Compete on daily, 7-day, and all-time leaderboards, tweak speed settings, and play right inside Reddit—no downloads, no friction. Perfect for adding color, music, and engagement to any subreddit.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Patrick, maker of gridblink. Super excited to share this with all of you! I built this game as part of the Reddit x Kiro Hackathon, Oct 2025. After sketching out a few ideas in my notebook, I remembered all the memory games I loved so much as a kid. I drew out 16 circles in a grid, imagining tapping them and hearing tones that needed to be mimicked. Then I thought about people interacting on a mobile device and changed it to a 3x3 grid of 9 circles. From there it was all just implementation. I'm proud of the way it turned out. I personally enjoy playing it, which is a good sign. And a couple hundred other people so far have enjoyed it as well! I never anticipated someone would be able to remember 26 tones in a row! Pretty wild to see how people are engaging with it. I'd love your feedback on: - What features would make this more compelling? - Any other game modes you'd want to see? Happy to answer any questions about building on Reddit's Devvit platform, the technical challenges, or anything else. And if you're a Reddit moderator, would love to hear what would make you install this for your community! Thanks for checking it out! 🎮✨
