Hey everyone,
The actual story behind this is pretty simple. I was helping a friend make some charts for a pitch deck and watched her spend around 40 minutes fighting with Excel just to make a stacked bar chart look decent. That got me thinking — why is making a good visualization still such a pain?
So I started building Graphix.
You can type what you want or upload a CSV, and it generates the visualization for you. It has the usual bar and line charts, but also some of the more unusual stuff like Sankey diagrams, candlesticks, and a bunch of others — 140+ chart types in total.
I also added a spreadsheet editor because I got tired of switching between different tools just to clean up data before visualizing it. You can edit the data, use formulas, and see the chart update as you work.
It’s free right now with no card required. It’s still in beta, so there are definitely going to be some rough edges.
If you try it, I’d genuinely love to know what feels confusing, what breaks, or what chart you immediately look for but can’t find. I’ll be around answering questions.
