1Hash/sec per node Proof of Work Mining (No Parallel Mining)

GrahamBell rethinks traditional Proof-of-Work. Each node mines at exactly 1 hash per second & parallel mining provides no advantage, making ASIC, GPU & CPU optimisation ineffective. The goal is to remove centralisation from blockchain by making mining fair, affordable, & widely adopted. Mining is linked to real usage: blocks are mined during audio/video calls & users earn both mining rewards & per-second active call-time incentives (reverse billing). Telecom is open-source to promote DePIN.

Hurairah Shamsi
Hey PH! I am Hurairah, the solo founder of GrahamBell. I'd really appreciate feedback & early participants. I built https://grahambell.io — a functional Proof of Work (PoW) model that is not only ASIC/GPU-proof, but also CPU-proof, and caps mining speeds to exactly 1 hash per second per node at the protocol level. I have both a demo and local client MVP to back this claim. (1) You can watch the 6-minute demo video that explains and demonstrates how mining is capped to 1 hash per second per node: https://youtu.be/i5gzzqFXXUk (2) You can try the local client MVP yourself. It doesn’t require any wallet connection or setup — it’s fully browser-based: https://grahambell.io/mvp/Proof_... Both the demo and the local client were built so that even non-technical users can understand and interact with them. I’d recommend watching the demo first, then trying the browser client. I’m assembling an early group of participants to stress-test the P2P version when it’s released. These participants will run some of the earliest nodes and help push the system under real conditions. If that’s you, I’ve added a participation link there: https://grahambell.io/mvp/#waitlist Feedback and early participation will directly influence if, when and how I move forward with testnet development. The goal is to remove centralisation pressures from blockchain by making parallel mining, hardware dominance, and capital advantage ineffective, and by removing advantage and control from mining pools, enabling mass participation in solo mining under network-enforced rules. There's more to it as well, including mining during audio/video calls and per-second monetary incentives based on active call time (reverse billing). This is in addition to block (mining) rewards. Telecom is open-source to promote decentralised and secure communication infrastructure (DePIN) and software and much more. Telecom (audio/video call) integration with mining, an already widely adopted infrastructure is an intentional design choice to promote adoption and real usage, which I believe is key to maximising security, decentralisation and opening new paths for on-chain scalability. Thanks for checking it out — I'm happy to answer questions.
