built GoneAfterRead because I kept running into the same awkward problem: sharing sensitive info (passwords, API keys, “here’s the link,” private notes) over chat/email where it gets copied, forwarded, and sits in history forever. I wanted something simple: write a note, share a link, and after it’s read once it’s gone — not “archived,” not “deleted later,” just not there anymore. That led to a few core choices: encrypt the content before it leaves your browser, make one-time viewing the default, and add auto-expiration for anything that never gets opened.
