Hey Product Hunt! I'm Martin, a solo developer from Sweden. I built Golf True Distance because I kept choosing the wrong club. My GPS said 150m to the pin, but I kept coming up short on cold, windy days. Turns out wind, temperature and elevation can change the real playing distance by 10-20+ meters — that's a full club difference. So I built an app that does the math in real time using weather data and elevation maps. Point it at the flag and you get the actual playing distance, not just the straight-line GPS number. I recently added OCR scorecard scanning too — point your camera at your scorecard and it reads par, strokes and index automatically. The big golf apps charge $20-30/year for weather-adjusted distances as a premium feature. I wanted to make it more accessible. Would love your feedback — especially if you play golf.
