Hey Product Hunters! 👋 I’m Morten, maker of Golf Club Reference.
A familiar name on an older club doesn’t always identify the generation. A listing might say “M2,” but the details you need can be spread across old manufacturer sheets, archive pages and different stock builds. Finding the right chart takes more digging than it should.
That’s why Golf Club Reference brings model identification and documented original specifications together in one free, searchable directory.
Here’s what you can do:
Search 378 model records across 22 brands, starting with the name on the head
Read 45 full iron charts with original loft, lie and length figures
Compare two exact iron generations side by side
Try four free tools: iron comparison, loft-gap checking, club-length conversion and analysis of your own measured carry gaps
Factory charts link to original manufacturer sources. Records explain their data sources and the relevant build assumptions, regions and units. Used clubs may have been bent, reshafted or shortened, so their current specifications can differ. Loft alone doesn’t predict distance or fit.
Try looking up a club you own, and tell me what you find. Which generation is missing, what feels confusing, or which comparison would help you next? I’d love your feedback. ⛳
