We built GlobalVIN to solve a problem we kept running into ourselves- getting vehicle history data from different countries means dealing with a different provider for each one. US data is easy Carfax, AutoCheck. But China, Japan, Europe? That usually means five separate integrations just to check one car's history. We started out focused on China-market data with our other site, chinavehiclehistory.com. But talking to dealers and developers, we realized the real need wasn't just China it was one simple API that covers everywhere. So that's what GlobalVIN became: one API key, and you get Carfax, AutoCheck, and vehicle history data from China, Japan, Europe, and Korea, all in one place. Building this yourself would normally take months and a lot of money. We wanted to make it something you can plug into in minutes instead.
