This is huge — hosted AI models is fast becoming a cloud platform standard. But in this case, GitHub will be able to track developer interest just like Facebook used to track evolving user preferences through its Facebook Connect platform. Is this a threat to Hugging Face?

As a developer myself, it's great to see competition for model hosting services. I still love Huggingface and benefit from its ZeroGPU initiative - just like any GPU poor people. I would love to pay for infra like this.
