Keep all of your developer contacts in one place. 1. Search for new contact by GitHub username. 2. Save new contact auto-populated with their GitHub profile information. 3. Add any additional notes. At a developer conference or meetup and want to reconnect with someone later? Just ask for their GitHub username and search for them in GitContacts.

Hello Product Hunt! I’m excited to launch my first product on PH, I’m starting the 12 products in a year challenge and this is the first one, I’m hoping to learn a lot from this launch :) Currently, when I’m at a developer conference or meetup and want to stay in contact with someone I met, I have to jot down or remember their key info then track down anything else I’m interested in like website, company, etc. later. I built GitContacts to provide a better way to search for, create and manage developer contacts and auto populate with the information I want most. Since the vast majority of developers have a GitHub account, you can just search for their username, save them as a contact with their GitHub profile info, and keep all your dev contacts on one app. I would love to know if you’d find this app useful to stay connected with other developers and if there are any additional information you tend to keep track of when making new contacts. Thanks so much for any feedback!
