GistReader

Hi Product Hunt! I have been working on Gistreader for a while now and have been sharing some of the work in public on Twitter, but I never had the guts to launch here. About time, right? TL;DR: I built a combined read it later app and RSS reader that uses AI to summarize your content. The longer version: early 2023, I cancelled my freelance contract to scratch my own itch. I always liked RSS back in the days (yes, I'm that old) and was an avid Google Reader user. I read a lot online, but find that I simply do not have the time to read every article in full anymore, which is why I built GistReader. GistReader is a read it later app (you can add any URL) and a RSS reader combined. It allows you to read the full page content and cleans it up so that only the article remains. On top of that, it uses AI to automatically summarize your content and make it searchable. I have a lot of ideas for the product, but I need your support and feedback to actually build the features that people _want_. My first next priority is to build a Chrome Extension that would allow you to save pages from where ever you are (as opposed to having to do this manually right now).
