Howdy! 👋 The holidays are right around the corner, and let's face it—picking the perfect gift can be stressful. That’s why I built this app: to make gift-giving a little bit easier. Here’s how it works: just provide a few details or keywords about the gift receiver, and the app uses AI to recommend products ready to buy from Amazon. It’s designed to offer smarter, more tailored suggestions with just a few inputs. Once you’ve found something you like, you can go and buy it or share the link for your favorite suggestions with other people. Why does this exist? Sure, you can ask any AI assistant for ideas, but getting more useful results often takes some back-and-forth. This app simplifies the process by focusing on gifts and providing a free, specialized, and self-contained solution. As a Product Designer, this is my first venture into turning an idea into functional software using AI. I built this in just a couple of weeks with Cursor and Claude Sonnet, and it’s been an incredible learning journey.
