Hi everyone! 👋 I’m the creator of getquits.uk. What inspired you to build this? Honestly, my own frustration. I realized I was spending way too much unbillable time chasing down clients for payments. The anxiety of sending those polite "just following up!" emails was exhausting. What problem were you trying to solve? Most invoicing tools are heavily bloated with full-scale accounting features that freelancers, contractors, and side-hustlers just don't need. I wanted a dead-simple, frictionless way to send a bill, let the client pay quickly, and finally call it "quits" on that project. How did your approach or process evolve while working on this launch? We originally started building out a complex dashboard, but realized speed is the real killer feature here. We stripped the platform back to just the absolute essentials: create, send, get paid.
