The General Data Exchange, GDX, is a marketplace for real-world data. Buy existing datasets, sell data you own or can legally provide, or post a bounty for someone to collect the data you need. Unlike traditional data vendors, GDX lets supply and demand meet directly. Raw uploads are reviewed, structured, priced, and turned into dataset products with samples, metadata, privacy checks, and licensing. Try it yourself on GDX.sh
The direct supply-and-demand model is refreshing, but one thing that would really help buyers is a built-in data quality scoring system on listings. Something like a transparency score showing how recent the data is, how complete the sample is, and maybe even verified buyer feedback. It would cut down on the back-and-forth before committing to a purchase.
