The General Data Exchange, GDX, is a marketplace for real-world data. Buy existing datasets, sell data you own or can legally provide, or post a bounty for someone to collect the data you need. Unlike traditional data vendors, GDX lets supply and demand meet directly. The direct supply-and-demand model is refreshing, but one thing that would really help buyers is a built-in data quality scoring system on listings. Something like a transparency score showing how recent the data is, how complete the sample is, and maybe even verified buyer feedback. It would cut down on the back-and-forth before committing to a purchase.
