SpotGamma and SqueezeMetrics pioneered GEX for equities — but nothing equivalent existed for crypto until GammaFlip. What's different: • Only tool aggregating gamma across Deribit + Bybit + OKX (99.5% of crypto options volume) into one view • Time Machine: replay any historical GEX snapshot hour-by-hour with OHLC overlay — see how gamma predicted actual price moves • GEX Heatmap: 15-min resolution gamma surface over days/weeks • Public REST API: 5 endpoints, JSON, no competitor offers this
I'm Victor, solo founder of GammaFlip.
I built this because I was trading crypto options and realized there was no equivalent of SpotGamma or SqueezeMetrics for crypto. Equity traders have had gamma exposure analysis for years — it shows where options dealers are forced to buy dips (long gamma) or chase moves (short gamma). These mechanical flows create real support and resistance levels.
Crypto options have grown to ~$40B daily notional across Deribit, Bybit, and OKX, but nobody was computing aggregate dealer gamma. So I built it.
What you get:
- GEX by Strike: see exactly which price levels have the heaviest dealer positioning
- Gamma Flip Point: where the market shifts from mean-reverting to trending
- Heatmap: gamma landscape over time, updated every 15 minutes
- Time Machine: replay any historical moment and see how gamma predicted price action
- Dashboard: quick overview of all assets (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP)
Most users don't trade options — they trade spot or perps and use gamma zones as structural levels for entries, exits, and stop placement.
I'd love your feedback. Happy to answer any questions about the gamma math or how dealers actually create these zones.
