Hey, PH! 👋 I’m Devon, a partner at Glitch Labs and one of the makers of GameChanger. Glitch is a creative agency and we’re constantly developing new tools to help other creatives thrive. GameChanger is our first card game, and we are so excited to share it with you today. The concept is simple: Flip over one card from each of the three decks to reveal a Concept, Execution, and Audience. This generates your first “Prompt”. You then use this prompt to start brainstorming a fun, wild, goofy, or genius idea for a new business venture. If you hit a wall or you feel like you’ve explored the prompt thoroughly, you can “Pivot” by flipping over the top card on any one of the three decks. This small change to either the Concept, Execution, or Audience totally changes your Prompt and inspires a new brainstorm session! For example, a “Stress Relief Mobile App for Bridezillas” may pivot into a “Stress Relief Mobile App for Start Up Founders” which can further pivot into a “Community Mobile App for Startup Founders”. Each step of the way you’ll be re-inspired to generate new ideas and keep the brainstorm moving. The core deck includes 108 cards and a brief booklet which outlines the rules for the game, as well as multiple game modes for you to try. There’s even a battle mode where two teams go head-to-head to develop the best business idea! As an agency, we see this as an amazing tool for similar creatives to ease tensions and kickstart brainstorms in a new way. But GameChanger is also fun for serial entrepreneurs who want to hone their skills in business development, too.
