FRTMProxy is an open-source proxy designed to make network debugging accessible to everyone. Built on top of mitmproxy, it provides powerful tools like Map Rules, network request breakpoints, and Git-versioned collections, with no lock-in and no subscriptions. A modern, open, and more democratic alternative to Charles and Proxyman.

Hey Developers!
I built FRTMProxy out of frustration with existing network proxy tools that are either closed, expensive, or hard to integrate into modern team workflows.
I wanted a proxy that was open-source, built on solid foundations (mitmproxy), and designed around real developer workflows: editable Map Rules, request and response breakpoints, and collections that can be versioned and shared via Git.
FRTMProxy is still evolving, and I’d love to hear your feedback especially on missing features, workflow pain points, or anything that could make network debugging better or more suitable for you.
Thanksss
