I'm Davide and I'm so excited to finally present Fridge AI with you!
Fridge AI was born out of our frustration (and I'm sure many others' too!) with food waste. How many times have you found yourself throwing away perfectly good food just because it got lost in the back of the fridge? Too many! So I thought, "There has to be a smarter way to manage our food resources." And that's how FRIDGE AI came to be! 💡
How does it work?
It's super simple! Snap a photo of your fridge or pantry, and FRIDGE AI will recognize the ingredients inside. In seconds, it will suggest personalized recipes based on what you have, your dietary preferences and needs.

🔹 Current version: ver 0.0.3 – Introducing recipe filters by country and the ability to edit saved search names.
🔹 Upcoming updates:
ver 0.1.0 – Big update! A favorite recipes cookbook, new recipe filters (such as intolerances and speed), and a feedback system for new features.
ver 0.1.1 – Launching a meal prep calendar and implementing user-requested features from feedback.
ver 0.1.2 – Grocery list generation plus another feature inspired by user feedback.
ver 0.2.0 – Super useful tools coming up: calorie calculation, unit conversion, and a timer function!
ver 0.3.0 – Keeping things fresh with product expiration tracking and yet another feature based on community input.

Good news for those who need to cook every day! Reducing food waste is great. Sometimes I buy ingredients but only know how to make a few dishes. Innovating recipes without changing the ingredients is very interesting. Best luck.

I love how this encourages spontaneous and efficient cooking. Does the AI offer substitutions if an ingredient is missing or does it only work with what it detects?

If the AI ever misidentifies an ingredient, no worries! You can easily edit or add it manually to make sure your recipe turns out just right. This way, you always have full control over what goes into your meals.

Our advanced AI algorithm ensures that the generated recipes are tailored to everyone’s needs, making cooking more convenient.
