@thisisgustav Thanks for the quick response! I just realized this is included in the FAQ, which I missed scrolling through the site. I would recommend including the FAQ in the header/footer nav :)
@sam_sles it was a bit unclear, now the pricing is displayed more prominently just below the signup button! Thanks for your feedback!

@thisisgustav Great! I think this is a much better experience for the visitor :)

The best content I've written are when I've forced myself to never delete a single word. I typically use Sublime text's distraction free mode to do that. This is much better.
What's with the 'no editing' ?
@sarjun Thanks! 'no editing' is a choice you can make in the "experimentals" in the app, i.e. disable backspace.

I really don't like the fact that I can no longer SEE the content of my entries after I "Let It Go". I wrote them for heavens sake. I can live without not being able to EDIT them. But you take them and don not even allow me to see them. I can not accept that.
@ronsheridan I'm sorry if that wasn't clear! The content isn't actually saved anywhere, when you press "let it go" it is deleted, only the numbers of words written are saved. If you want to save something you can save as a .txt through a button before hitting "let it go". Also, check out 750words.com - a similar product that DO save what you write in their database.

@thisisgustav thx for the explaination! If I had read more I'd know that. :)
@ronsheridan Yup I think that it needs to be make clearer. I didn't see it would save either. Wrote something that ended up being something that I really liked and now its gone :-(
@rockstarcode@ronsheridan totally valid points! I'm looking into having the alternative of saving directly to Evernote/Dropbox/Google Drive for the stuff you'd like to keep.

Hi Gustav,
I like freewrite - helped get me to writing 100words/day on medium. One Q - If I stop writing and move on with my day, and then visit the page - it counts the total time, not just the time till I stopped writing on the page.
Is that something your team is looking into? - to only count the minutes when someone is typing.
thanks
Div
@divmanickam Hi Div and thanks for using Freewrite! Yep, it counts the whole time from first word to submit. I think it's a good idea to only count the time you are actually typing - I'll look into how this can be solved in a good way and let you know, eventually :)

@thisisgustav Thanks Gustav - look forward to hearing more :)
@rrhoover would be great to have something in place to give it away to schools/teachers/students for free, somebody should make some sort of Auth/login system for students/schools to make that easy... 🤔
Love the simplicity of the concept. I'm curious to know what you have in store to help people keep with the habit. (I previously worked at 10percenthappier.com, where behavioral consistency was a big challenge for us)
@robinsongreig Great question! This is something I will have to explore a lot more going forward. Right now nothing much implemented except a graph that shows daily streaks/consistency, to try to create a "don't break the chain"-effect.
But I think that optional email/text reminders might be useful as well as creating some sort of optional educational/inspirational content that new sign ups get on a weekly basis, like an email course.
Will take a look at 10percenthappier.com for inspiration :).
Where are we going to write? I'll tell you where. Someplace warm. A place where words flows like wine where beautiful ideas instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. A little place called Notes (No 1 year free trial required).
