Most freelancer templates are either a single tracker (just invoices, just tasks) or a bloated all-in-one that takes hours to set up. Freelancer OS is a live dashboard: 5 connected databases (Clients, Projects, Tasks, Payments, Inbox), a Kanban board, and real-time filtered views for overdue payments and active work — all visible from one home screen. No manual filtering, no separate apps. Built and shipped in a week as my first digital product.
Hey everyone — this is my first digital product, so I'm genuinely nervous but excited to share it.
I've been freelancing and got tired of juggling a spreadsheet for clients, a separate app for invoices, and sticky notes for tasks. So I built Freelancer OS: one Notion dashboard where clients, projects, tasks, and payments are all connected and live — no manual updating across five different tools.
The hardest part was making the dashboard actually show live filtered data (like overdue payments) instead of just being a pretty static page. Took a lot of back and forth to get right.
Would love any feedback, especially from other freelancers on what's missing or what you'd want to see in a v2.

Having the overdue payments view sitting right next to the active Kanban board was a small thing but it changed how I actually run my week. The fact that all five databases talk to each other without me setting up relations is honestly the part that saved me hours.
