The premise: an invoicing tool should be a file you own, not a subscription that holds your client list on someone else's server.
FreelanceDesk is one HTML document — no build step, no framework, no dependencies, and no network code at all. You open it in the browser you already have, double-click from a USB stick if you like, and it keeps clients, hourly entries and invoices in that browser's local storage.
The part that matters day to day: unbilled hours stay visible until they are on an invoice, and "Bill unbilled" gathers a client's unclaimed hours into a draft invoice, merging lines that share a task and rate. The PDF comes out of the browser's own print dialog, so there is no watermark and no page quota.
What it is not, because it decides whether it fits: no sync between devices, no automatic backup (clear site data and it is gone — there is a JSON export), no mobile app, no team access, not accounting or tax software, and it cannot take payments for you.
The full app is free to try without an account. The copy you keep is $14 once and includes four documents that print the same way: a service agreement, a project proposal with an explicit "not included" list, a rate card, and three escalating overdue-invoice letters that work out the statutory interest for you, in English and in Finnish.
Feedback I would use: the first-run experience for someone with no clients in it yet, and whether the invoice layout survives printing to A4 or Letter from your browser. If your workflow needs something it does not do, name the workflow and I will say whether it is on the list or out of scope.
