Hey everyone 👋
I’m Kyle, the maker of Posture Pomodoro.
While building it, I realized I didn’t actually know what was wrong with my posture, just that it probably wasn’t great. And that I was often in pain at the end of a workday. So I built this to make it measurable.
You upload a front + side photo, and it gives you a posture score plus a breakdown across:
CVA (the dreaded "Tech Neck")
Pelvic tilt
Shoulder leveling
Pelvic obliquity
Knee alignment
Global body lean
Head tilt
Trunk lean
Seeing it broken down like this was honestly a bit of a wake-up call for me.
There’s also a more detailed report you can unlock with deeper insights and personalized recommendations and corrective exercises, but even the free version gives a pretty clear picture.
If you try it, I’d love to hear:
- What score did you get?
- Anything surprise you?
Open to any feedback. Still iterating on this a lot.
@kyle_banta congrats for the launch and the app looks neat. does it work with office sitting position? running or biking positions?

@hwellmake The analysis is from two standing profile positions that are standstill so it can get a clear view of how your body sits. But that's a good point that maybe adding sitting would help people see how out of alignment they are when they sit! (tho I don't believe that the "alert me when I sit in bad posture" monitoring apps really work, because they don't address the problem. my analysis is mostly to give you a sense of what you need to work on, and then the rest of my app gives you guided exercise routines throughout the work day to help you actually address and strengthen your posture).
