Form Keeper is a local-first browser extension that saves and autofills repetitive forms instantly. No cloud, no accounts, and strictly no passwords—just privacy-focused productivity.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m WadFar, a developer building privacy-first tools, and the maker behind Form Keeper.
I built Form Keeper out of sheer frustration. I was losing hours to mindless data entry—typing the exact same testing data, shipping details, and recurring reports over and over. I hated that native browser autofills always guessed the wrong fields, and cloud-based extensions demanded to sync all my personal data to a remote server just to automate a simple workflow.
So, I built a solution that lives entirely on your device using chrome.storage.local. Form Keeper eliminates the friction of repetitive typing by saving and injecting exact webpage layouts instantly.
A few things that make it different:
🛡️ Zero-Telemetry: No analytics, no tracking, and absolutely no accounts required.
🎯 Site-Specific or Global: Save an exact layout for a recurring portal so you never type it twice, or use Global Profiles to map details onto any random checkout page.
🔐 Privacy-Hardened: Actively ignores password fields and sensitive inputs by design.
💻 Open Source: The code is 100% public for anyone to audit.
We just pushed v1.1.1 featuring a brand-new Light Mode and improved framework compatibility to perfectly handle dynamic dropdowns and complex date pickers.
I’ll be hanging out here all day answering questions. I would love to hear your feedback on the UI or any feature requests you have for future updates!
