I spent a year asking one question: why do developers spend 2-3 weeks wiring together repos that already work individually? Copilot and Cursor generate code from scratch. The problem: they hallucinate imports, invent API endpoints that don't exist, and mix up types between frontend and backend. The longer the conversation, the worse it gets.
