Early impression is that this is smartly tuned with domain specific knowledge. Curious to see if long term experiments demonstrate alpha. We need more Brier scoring in the world - I'm a fan of that aspect.
@pedroakroeff Thanks so much! I couldn't agree more about Brier scoring. Society usually grades purely on binary 'right vs. wrong,' but to actually improve, we need a mathematical way to measure the exact gap between user confidence and reality. It is the ultimate feedback loop.
We spent a ton of time tuning that domain knowledge. Brier is actively synthesizing data from 38 real-time tools and drawing from a 21-book RAG system we call "The Singularity Library" to ensure the coaching is grounded in actual decision science.
Proving that alpha over the long term is exactly the goal. As we build out the Ensemble Brain, combining our AI models with the weighted consensus of our top-calibrated human forecasters, we are carefully tracking to see if that intersection can stabilize an elite edge at scale.

I use this makes predictions for a few of the games I was attending. The insight that Briar gave me was some next level stuff. The detail and precision with all the data at this app has is something that I’ve never seen before.

We put a massive amount of work into building out Brier's 38 real-time data tools so it could instantly surface things like live Elo ratings, exact injury tier impacts, and rest fatigue right when you are making a decision. The goal was to give you access to the same level of precision that the Vegas algorithms have, but wrapped in a coach that actually helps you process it.

Brier helped me uncover my blind spots - far too overconfident on the Lakers, struggling to accurately forecast middling teams like the Bulls and Raptors. My Brier score in October was 0.215 and jumped to 0.178, reflecting steady improvement through finetuning my forecasts and understanding my behavioral biases.
Better yet, I'm no longer doing parlays and have a quantifiable edge in picking certain games! Highly recommend signing up (it's free) and making picks throughout the playoffs.
