FollowSheet reads your Gmail and fills a Google Sheet with who you last emailed and who wrote last. It flags Needs reply, Overdue, Due today and Gone cold. No server, your data stays in your Google account. Free plan; Pro $7/mo for a daily email digest.

Hi PH š I'm the maker of FollowSheet.
I kept losing track of client threads. Someone would reply, I'd read it on my phone, and a week later I'd realise I never answered. CRMs felt like overkill for that, and most of them charge per seat. Streak, for example, starts at $49/user/month billed yearly for its CRM plans (per their pricing page today). The free plan covers email tools but not pipelines.
FollowSheet is the smallest thing that fixed it for me. It's a Google Sheet plus a script that reads your Gmail:
⢠fills in last contacted, who wrote last and days quiet for each contact
⢠sets a status: Needs reply (they wrote last), Overdue, Due today, Gone cold (21 quiet days, adjustable)
⢠a Today tab and a simple Pipeline. On Pro, it emails you that list every morning
It runs in your own Google account. There's no FollowSheet server, and only the licence key is checked.
Honest limits: it's not a full CRM. There's no email tracking, no mail merge, no mobile app and no shared pipelines; if you need those, Streak or a real CRM is the better fit.
Install is a Google Apps Script, so Google shows an "unverified app" screen (Advanced ā Go to FollowSheet). The install guide explains exactly what it accesses.
Free plan: sync 25 contacts at a time, with all tabs, plus a 14-day Pro trial with no card. Pro is $7/mo or $59/yr. Team is $149/yr for 5 Google accounts.

I'd love feedback, especially on the status rules. What would make you trust a sheet over a CRM?
