I've always wondered how many characters I could type in to a URL bar on my phone before I could find (even if I already had it downloaded) a QR code app, launch it, scan the image, and then let the page load.
I'm guessing that some Android phones have it built into the stock camera or something though?

QR codes are fantastic when you have a room full of 600 people and no way to pull up their details in quick time - not sure if this is the best use case but nice to see someone not completely writing off QR codes
