What's great
the gated comments idea is smart, most poetry communities online turn into either silence or pile-on criticism within a day of posting. having a private craft score that's just for you rather than public is a nice touch too, takes the performance anxiety out of posting something personal. the free tipping-poets-directly model is also refreshing compared to sites that take a cut
What needs improvement
the authenticity check for AI-written submissions needs to be more than an honor system, that's the one thing that could quietly undermine the whole "written by real people" pitch if it's not enforced well as the site grows

Thanks a lot for taking time to review this Gal! Really appreciate that. And FYI, there is a full background job that checks for likelihood of ai, safety, and authenticity. It isn't perfect but definitely goes quite a bit beyond the honor system.

@yashekbote thank you! yes it is; since most things on the site are free it was hard to do a human evaluation. so this seemed like an interesting route. my hope is that since the evaluation is private to the poet, it will be used more to spot areas for improvement...but not be the goal of the writing.
