Figure It Out-FIO is a beautiful way to manage multiple locations and timezones in your browser. Add up to 10 unique zones to tell the time of day for remote teams. Our colors uniquely show the time of day, sunrise and sunset. FIO replaces your default tab.
Can't live without it - you might think a timezone switcher is something basic, tho... there are no beautifully designed products/extensions for this outside of FIO. I've been using it for years and can't live without it.
Similar to one of my favorite Product Hunt finds yet, Momentum, this Chrome extension replaces your new tab to display time zones in other areas of your choosing.
Side note: I believe there's an underutilized opportunity in building products within the new tab, inserting itself within one's daily routine. Limitless is another one that comes to mind but I haven't seen many products use this. cc @ashbhoopathy
Isn't it odd that when it comes to browser extensions, there can only be one. That's like only having one app on your homescreen. This looks cool but sadly cannot replace Momentum for me.
Hadn't heard of Momentum yet. Looks nice though - almost like Yahoo weather with a todo list. I've gotten picky (probably too much so) with adding chrome extensions b/c i always end up with my browser crawling along until I cleanse. I thought this looked nice and low weight w/o any big images loading each time

I'm with @ShaanVP. For me, figuring out the time in another city is an active process that is triggered by some external stimuli (eg scheduling a call). I see the new tab screen opportunity as passive, something that I just happen to see a few times throughout the course of a day.
I'd much prefer a button up near the address bar or a key stroke to launch FIO.
