It all started when my cousin moved to Germany. We saw firsthand how absolutely brutal the German WG (flatshare) market is. Finding a place is basically a full-time job. Listings get flooded with hundreds of applications within minutes. If you aren't constantly refreshing and instantly sending a highly personalized Anschreiben (cover letter), you don't even stand a chance at getting a viewing. It’s incredibly stressful. How our approach evolved: As an AI automation specialist, I realized this intense, high-stakes bottleneck was the perfect problem for AI agents to solve. We teamed up to build a solution. I built the core of FindHaus using vibe-coding and agentic IDEs. What started as a simple automation loop evolved rapidly as we dialed it in, combining my workflow building with his on-the-ground testing, technical feedback, and code reviews. By leveraging powerful LLMs and robust automation, we transformed FindHaus into a dedicated AI agent that doesn't just find the listings, but instantly crafts the perfect, tailored pitch to beat the rush and get you in the door.
