Finalist was inspired by my wife: every night on a little yellow notepad she writes a list of things that need to get done the next day.
I ended up doing this myself and loved it. There was something about starting every day with a fresh, empty to-do list that let me get stuff done without over-managing simple tasks like "call accountant".
This eventually turned into Finalist, so I could have cloud-sync, ability to see my calendar alongside my tasks, monthly overview in bullet journal format, etc.
Finalist will be free at launch, and users who run the app during the launch will get to keep it free even after it's no longer free. Finalist is my attempt at cutting through the noise but I really want to hear how you deal with task overload.

I am a big supporter of making lists lol. But no actually it's great putting the little checkmarks next to your tasks or just crossing them out is like a little reward for small accomplishments throughout the day. Will absolutely try this out. Good job guys, design looks quiet neat as well!
I love this app and the concept. It's modeled after a paper task system that I used for two years - Analog - https://ugmonk.com/blogs/journal....
For me this app is about what I need to to TODAY, not reminders or projects. Just simple. It does the job.
Slaven was so responsive to so many feature requests during this beta period. He is an awesome developer.
