FileNest Worktools brings repetitive file tasks into one browser workspace: batch renaming, local image OCR, image conversion and resizing, PDF workflows, CSV/JSON conversion, document creation and duplicate detection. Current browser-local tools process file contents on your device, with previews and clear output details before download.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built FileNest around a simple problem: small file tasks often mean jumping between several single-purpose websites or installing software for something that should take a minute.
FileNest puts those repetitive jobs into one browser workspace. The current toolkit includes batch renaming and ordering, local image OCR, image conversion and resizing, PDF workflows, CSV/JSON conversion, document creation, and duplicate-file detection.
For the current browser-local tools, file contents are processed on your device rather than sent to a conversion server. I also wanted the workflow to feel predictable, so many tools show previews, conflicts, or output details before you download anything.
The product is still early, so feedback is especially useful. I’d like to know:
• Which file task would you genuinely use most?
• What repetitive file operation is still missing?
• Does the privacy/local-processing message feel clear?
• How does the mobile experience feel?
Thanks for checking it out.
