The inspiration of this project came out of a personal experience. In India, we have to give a lot of entrance exams for securing admissions to Engineering Colleges. The form filing process of those exams requires you to upload documents should be smaller in size than a certain limit (eg. 30kb). Most of the documents do not fall in that limit and we had to repeatedly compress and resize them until they were accepted. This was a very frustrating process and the existing websites that did this were filled with ads or costly subscriptions. That's why I decided to build FileForge, which quickly and easily compresses your files in your preferred size(mostly).
