I've been doing design for most of my life. I was drawing interfaces back when the whole market was doing it in Photoshop. I've had to work for companies where website design was done in InDesign and Illustrator.
I remember the day I wanted to quit design and take up learning programming. But then Sketch 3 came out, which was a breath of fresh air. Design started to evolve as fast as it could and so did I.
The main problem was the lack of a Windows version. I remember how I got a small development studio to buy an iMac.
Time passed and Figma appeared on the market. Yes, it had flaws and was not as fast and convenient as Sketch. Only the Figma team understood the problems of the market and they improved the product for years.
I stopped doing design. I opened my own studio. Hired developers, marketers and designers. Of course we use Figma.
I couldn't imagine designing without Figma now, it makes collaborating with the entire team on design so easy and can be taught to anyone regardless of skill level.
The main helper in my second job. Thanks to figma and its functionality, it was possible to earn additional income.
I love Figma!
It is getting better and better each day and the community is growing.
I hope to see updates for rendering the preview better and faster. I also wish for more power in handling large vectors.🤩
Great tool. Waiting for AI & NO-CODE to be integrated, and take it to the next level
Amazing tool that helps me everything realted UX/UI design sometimes a lil bit of normal visual design, but lacks on printing features.
I have explored various design tools over the years, Figma stands out as a game-changer in the realm of collaborative design. This innovative app has redefined the way teams work together, offering a seamless and intuitive platform for designing, prototyping, and sharing ideas.
When it comes to design tools like Figma, I must admit that as a non-designer, it can feel quite challenging to get the hang of it due to its steep learning curve. However, I have discovered a gem within the Figma ecosystem called Figjam that I absolutely adore.
Figjam offers an intuitive and user-friendly experience, making it more accessible to users like myself who may not have a background in design. It allows me to effortlessly create diagrams and brainstorm ideas using sticky notes, which has proven to be incredibly valuable. The simplicity and versatility of Figjam's interface make it a joy to work with.
