One of the standout features of Figma is its collaboration capabilities. With Figma, you can work on a project with your team members in real-time, which is incredibly helpful when working on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders. You can also leave comments and feedback directly on the design, making it easier to keep track of changes and updates.
Another great feature of Figma is its library of design assets, which includes UI elements, icons, and illustrations. This library is continually expanding, and it's easy to search and find what you need quickly.
Before choosing Figma, we also explored tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, and Penpot. Sketch had great plugins but felt more Mac-dependent and less collaborative. Adobe XD was promising but lacked the seamless multiplayer experience. Penpot is open-source and exciting, but Figma’s polish and real-time features won us over. If you’re looking for a powerful design and prototyping tool, we highly recommend giving Figma a shot!
Its collaborative environment and intuitive interface enable our team to seamlessly create, prototype, and share designs in real-time, aligning perfectly with our mission to make work more collaborative and efficient. Figma's emphasis on community and its open platform for sharing plugins and resources reflect a commitment to innovation and user empowerment, principles that resonate deeply with our ethos at MOCDT.
Figma suits me: fair price, easy to use, regular updates. Bugs are rare. I use it solo and with my team. Project organization is handy — lots of projects, sorted by groups, reorderable, with favorites. Plugins, community, and AI tools are useful; I rely on them often.
In-file teamwork helps: discussions with designers and devs stay there, cutting down on chats and calls. Plans are flexible — access and restrictions adjust easily.
The admin panel annoys me, though: adding someone to the plan or checking next period’s invoice isn’t clear. UX there is messy, needs work. Also, no warning that AI features might not work in some countries — you figure out the VPN fix yourself.
Been with Figma since 2019, and I’m satisfied. Price and quality balance out, it pays off. Thanks for the tool!
I moved to Figma from Sketch 5 years ago and even then it was such an impressive move! The recent features (Dev Mode, AI tools, Autolayout Updates, etc.) have seriously upped my design game!
I genuinely have so much fun building and organising design libraries for devs and other designers to use!
