Figflow is your product team's AI companion, transforming Figma designs into user stories in minutes. It cuts down on bulk work, so you can focus on refining ideas with your team.
Hey Product Hunters! 👋
After 8 months of development, we're excited to introduce Figflow on Product Hunt today! 🎉
Figflow was born out of our experience in product design and development. We wanted to solve a common challenge we faced: turning design files into actionable, shareable and useable product backlogs. From there we transformed our own thoughts and ideas into a bold mission to empower product teams to spend less time with time heavy, repetitive tasks and more time on sharing ideas, thoughts and executing on building great products.
We're currently still in the early fase of development. Today we're launching our MVP but the roadmap is full of exciting ideas we would love to share with our customers.
Our current MVP follows the following features:
- Integration with Figma to convert design files into user stories and product backlogs using Figflow AI.
- An intuitive conversational interface for writing and refining user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios and much more with Figflow AI.
- AI-powered story point estimation to help with sprint planning and budgeting.
- Export options to CSV to fit so you can import it your backlog in JIRA, Trello or any other tool
We’re thrilled to share Figflow with you today and would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
Thank you for checking us out and for your support! 🙏🏼
@jotam_dveer Figflow is a fantastic solution that streamlines the process of transforming design files into actionable product backlogs!

Shouldn't it be the other way round? Designs tend to get done based off stories created by BAs and stakeholders. Stories provide the problem and designs provide the solution
@chris_casey1 Hi Chris, in theory, that’s how it should work. But in practice, we often see it happening the other way around. Agencies, who are typically brought in to handle product work, need a certain level of confidence during the discovery and design phases. They usually develop low- and high-fidelity prototypes or designs to secure client approval before moving into full development mode, right? So, you’ve got an agency with a product owner and designer who have created a lot of designs, and now they need to break these down into epics and user stories for their multidisciplinary dev team to start building. This is exactly where Figflow fits in perfectly, and I see this scenario a lot in my work. The use case where product managers or owners already have their epics and user stories defined before jumping into discovery or design mode isn’t really our target audience.

Figflow has really streamlined the way we move from design to development by automatically turning Figma designs into actionable tasks. We're an agency with roughly 50 people. It’s already saved us a lot of time and I couldn't be more happy with the results. So far, it’s been working great and has helped improve our workflow significantly. If you're looking for an efficient way to bridge the gap between design and execution, this is the perfect solution.
Great stuff, good luck Figflow-team!
Congrats on the launch! How accurate is the AI story point estimation compared to traditional team planning poker? Curious if it takes into account project complexity and team velocity.
@kate_pppppp Thanks, Kate! At the moment, we’ve found that our AI tends to estimate about 15-25% higher in some cases. What’s really interesting is that you can ask our Figflow.ai assistant to explain how it arrives at these estimates. It provides a detailed breakdown of why it assigns a certain number of story points—something that has even surprised a few of our clients' teams!
@william_jin that's great to hear. It definitely saves a lot of time! How do you define complex design workflows? At our current stage, we can read and work with any Figma file, as long as it's properly organized—following Figma's standard hierarchy: collections, frames, and layers. Our AI works with frames, which can be easily translated into user stories, or you can use our conversational interface. It’s as simple as selecting the frames you want to convert, and voilà! That’s why we think of Figflow more as a companion than just a workflow tool. Does that answer your question?
