FeelMyMac brings haptic textures to cursor movement and scrolling on Mac trackpads. Instead of feeling feedback only when you click, you can actually feel simulated surfaces as you move your cursor, with different materials and textures to choose from. You can enable haptics separately for cursor customize intensity, and add optional sound effects. FeelMyMac also includes keyboard sounds for an extra layer of feedback. How it works? Easy it's Taptic Engine just like an iPhone would!

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Leonardo, the maker behind FeelMyMac.
The idea started with a simple question: “Why does the Mac trackpad feel amazing when you click, but completely flat while you move around it?”
Compatible Mac trackpads already have haptic hardware that creates the click sensation you feel every day. FeelMyMac uses that same hardware in a different way.
Instead of only feeling feedback when you click, the app makes your trackpad react while you move the cursor or scroll, creating the sensation of different textures and surfaces under your fingers.
You can choose different materials, adjust the haptic intensity, control movement, scrolling, and tap feedback separately, and add optional sounds,
including keyboard sounds.
What’s been especially rewarding is hearing from users who had no idea their Mac could do anything like this.Everyone I’ve heard from who’s tried it has found it innovative and fun, and that’s exactly what I hoped to create: a small change that makes an everyday interaction feel different.
This isn’t about adding another productivity shortcut or saving you a few clicks. It’s about changing something we rarely think about: how using a computer actually feels.
FeelMyMac has already been downloaded hundreds of times, and feedback from early users has helped shape the app along the way.
I’m still actively improving it, so I’d love to hear your impressions: what feels good, what doesn’t, and what you’d like me to experiment with next.
Did you know your trackpad could do more than just simulate a click?
Thanks for checking it out!
