A quick update for everyone following along. Faraday has quietly grown to thousands of people on web and Mac, from Denmark and Australia to the US, Canada and South Africa, and most of them found us because their inbox had stopped making sense.
The part people tell me they didn't expect is that Faraday actually understands each email, so it knows a LinkedIn update from a client email from a 2FA code from a vendor invoice. Because it understands them, it can put the key details right at the top, like the ask, the amount, the date or the code, and you get the point without digging through the message.
It also does something I'm really proud of with long threads. Instead of scrolling through twenty replies, you can see where the conversation landed and what's still open, which is a huge deal when you're reading on a small screen!
That's exactly why mobile matters so much to us. Now all of this is coming to iOS and Android on the same day, and I'll post the launch right here! If you've used Faraday on desktop, tell me the one thing you'd want first on your phone :)
opened it just to try and ended up staying way longer than i planned lol
@abhiyanshu_chaudhary1 That's exactly what happened with me when we first built the Newsletters section:)
not gonna lie, i’ve tried a lot of tools like this. this one feels awsm
@rashi_sharma14 thank you! we meant it to be so
My partner noticed me using it and immediately asked for the name — which basically never happens with email clients 😄 Huge congrats on such an incredible launch!
@murraynick_03 Woah, it must have been the Updates section, that caught their attention, isn't it?!
@neerajnathany just tried it for a bit and honestly really love where this is going. the way threads and emails are structured feels so different from anything else out there. can't wait to see what comes next...
@anjali_bansal3 Please do check out the entire product, all the sections. There are a lot of delightful additions everywhere:)
Inbox finally got a make over it deserved. Feels so clean.
@abhishek_goel9 Thanks Abhishek!
three tabs closed, one app deleted, inbox at zero. all in one afternoon. thank you
@akshat5 Haha, we didn't expect such an impact so quickly:)
The category is one where the devil is genuinely in the details and the product page doesn't go deep enough for me to tell yet whether this is the real thing or positioning
@manash_pratim2 It is unfailingly the real thing. Did you check out the product demo video? That should quickly convey the product in detail. Additionally, I simply suggest that you try it out:) Is free to do so.
