We re getting ready to launch Famulor, and I d love to hear what people actually need from an AI phone agent.
Famulor can answer inbound calls, book appointments, run outbound campaigns, and follow up over WhatsApp, email, and SMS. What s the hardest part to get right in your workflow: the conversation itself, the handoff to a person, or what happens after the call?
Hi Product Makers & Hunters! 🚀
Every business we talked to had the same problem: calls go unanswered, leads go cold overnight, and every channel lives in a different tool.
So we built Famulor, the AI-native business phone platform. One agent. Everywhere.
One AI agent answers your calls, runs outbound campaigns and keeps the same conversation going on WhatsApp, email and your website. Same script, same knowledge base, one contact record.
What's inside:
- Inbound and outbound calls that sound human, in 120 languages
- 21 channels: phone, WhatsApp, email, web widget, Slack, Teams, Telegram and more
- Loop: a full business phone system (extensions, queues, ring groups) with the agent built in
- Milian, our AI copilot: it builds, connects and tests your automations for you
- Voice simulations: test your agent with a real call before it goes live
- Made in Germany, GDPR-ready, no code, from $0.05/min
Why "AI-native"? We didn't bolt AI onto a phone system. The agent is the core, and the phone system, inbox and automations are built around it.
We also integrated @Jev to help our agents make decisions during calls. And we ship every day: https://docs.famulor.io/changelog
One question for you: which channel do your customers actually reply on, and which one does your team never get to?
@ikoma The voice simulation feature caught my attention. Being able to actually test a conversation before going live feels much better than just reading a preview.
@ikoma Voice simulations before going live are a really useful addition. Testing conversations first can make a big difference.
@ikoma Having one of the agent across WhatsApp, calls and email is a really useful approach.
Sounds as one of few products from Product Hunt, I would really use. It would be great to hear the voice of the agent in the video though, there is huge difference between good and bad voice agents. Good once almost are indistinguishable. Is it priced per minute? What languages are covered? Good luck today!
@davitausberlin Yes, it’s billed per minute. We support 120 languages. Fair point about the voice, you can hear the agent here:
Being able to move from a phone call to WhatsApp without starting the conversation again is a nice detail.
@haozhe_li Yes, and if you already have an agent in Retell, Vapi, or Synthflow, you can import it into Famulor and try it for free.
I noticed the extensions and ring groups Small thing, but that could make a difference for teams.
@hezhuang_l Thanks, Leo! Extensions and ring groups let teams keep their existing call setup while the AI agent handles the calls they can’t pick up.
Can I Connect with my sip trunk ?
@markus_buhl Yes, you can connect your SIP trunk to Famulor. Here’s the setup guide: https://docs.famulor.io/telephony/sip-trunks
If you use Twilio, Telnyx or Vonage, you can also import your numbers directly ( One Click ) https://docs.famulor.io/telephony/carrier-import
I see you build an automation build in???
@new_user___3392025fb6fd14623c16ea6 Yes, Famulor has built-in automation. You can create workflows for things like following up after a call on WhatsApp, SMS or email, and use the visual flow editor without code.
Voice simulations before going live is a really nice touch. Big help for business owners who don't want to risk testing on real customers.
@henry_habib Thanks, Henry! You can hear and refine the agent in a simulation before it handles real calls. You can also run simulations via API, MCP or CLI. Check it out here:
