FamiRelo helps families compare cities before moving abroad with simple relocation checklists covering housing, schools, childcare, healthcare, visas, safety, and real daily costs. Compare destinations side by side and make the decision easier.

Hey hey,
I built FamiRelo first of all for myself. It’s a family relocation planner with 100 locations (more soon) to explore, covering visa options, schools, housing, healthcare, and more (even nanny costs:).
You can browse cities, dive into the checklists, or compare a few places side by side when you want to go deeper.
I spent a long time looking at a few places to move with my family. I've always loved sites like Nomads (formerly Nomad List), but I have a family and little kids now, so it's not as easy as it used to be. You can't just jump anywhere you want with a small bag.
And I realized there wasn't really one place built for families, where I could simply see an organized checklist with the things I actually care about: visa options and how long we can stay, schools, housing, healthcare, nanny costs, safety, and all the practical stuff that actually affects daily life.
Most of what I found was either busy, scary content sites, random group posts, or people trying to sell me their services, which made it hard to know what to trust. And it takes a ton of time I don't really have.
Honestly, it made the whole process, which used to feel fun and exciting, feel heavy. Like something you keep postponing.
So I decided to build the thing I wanted.
Something simple, where you can tap or hover a location card in a beautiful (I think!), colorful grid, quickly see the main costs like monthly range, dinner for 2, and more. Dive into a city, and get a clear checklist that doesn't feel overwhelming. You can go step by step, jump between categories, or use the custom comparison to get a more personal view based on your family setup.
The real struggle was what not to add. It's easy and tempting to just keep adding content, but I wanted to keep it simple, clear, and fun, and only add things when they actually bring value.
Or in short: make nomading fun again, even with a family!
It’s still early. I built it by myself, with my friend Cursor, between thousands of other things. There’s a lot more I’d like to add, like more locations, more info sections, more features, and all that good stuff. But for now, I’d love for you to play with it, click around, browse the cards, try the comparison, or whatever else feels interesting.
Any feedback is welcome.
