Model the real annual cost of a single-family, multi-family or virtual family office across India, the US and Singapore — built line by line with every assumption shown.

Most people asking “what does a family office actually cost?” get one of two answers: a hand-wavy “about 1% of AUM,” or a confident pitch from someone who happens to sell single-family offices, multi-family seats, or outsourced setups.
We built this because the honest answer is “it depends — and here’s exactly on what.”
The calculator prices all three models — single-family, multi-family, and virtual/outsourced — side by side, on your own numbers: your assets, where they sit, how many entities and in which countries, the services you actually want, and how lean you keep the in-house team. It’s a glass box — every figure traces back to an input and a stated assumption, with a full line-by-line breakdown (people, tax, audit, legal, tech, compliance, admin), not a black-box total. Entities are costed at local rates: an Indian trust is priced in India, not at hub prices. v1 covers India, the US and Singapore.
It lives inside The Family Office Stack, which is independent and no pay-to-play. You’re comparing models here, not being sold one.
What would help most:
If you run or advise a family office — do the ranges match your reality, especially outside the US?
Which jurisdiction should we add next: UK, Dubai, Switzerland, Hong Kong?
Any cost line that’s missing or weighted wrong?
Where does the single- vs multi- vs virtual crossover actually land for you?
Honest pushback is the most useful kind. Thanks for taking a look.
