I'm Sascha, dad of two small kids. A while ago I noticed that our family planning was spread across sticky notes, a shared calendar, a shopping list app and a lot of "did you buy milk?" messages. Something always got lost.

So I built Familienplan. It puts the meal plan, the shopping list, appointments, family events and trips into one app, and they actually talk to each other. If you plan lasagna for Wednesday, the ingredients end up on the shopping list. If grandma's birthday is on Saturday, you see it right next to the week's meals.

A few things that matter to me:

- It's built for phones first, because that's where family life happens

- The whole family can use it together

- There's a free version, and a Plus plan with Ai features if you want more

Right now the app is in German, because we're a German family and that's where I started.

I'm building this on my own in the evenings, so honest feedback helps me a lot. What's missing? What's annoying? What would make you actually use it every week?
