What inspired EZSUITFive months ago a friend forgot his shoes at a hotel. He sent them a warning letter, confident he was right, citing "the Lost Property in Hospitality Establishments Act." He sent me the letter feeling like a legal genius. It took me one minute to discover the law doesn't exist.ChatGPT made it up. Friend never knew.Then came another friend with a tort claim full of fabricated case law. Then another. Then I saw the news: an Israeli municipality was fined ₪30,000 by the court because their lawyer submitted fake precedents generated by AI. The judge wrote it bordered on "recklessness."That's when I realized: AI is being used by millions for legal tasks, but it hallucinates with full confidence. Real people are walking into real courts armed with fake law.The problem we're solvingPeople who get wronged by corporations on small amounts (delayed flights, spam messages, defective products, refused refunds) face an impossible choice. Hire a lawyer for $1,500+ on a claim worth $500. Or use ChatGPT and risk submitting nonsense to a real judge.We built the third option. Every legal citation we generate is verified against a manually curated database of 200+ Israeli court precedents. If a citation isn't verified, it doesn't leave our system. Then every document gets human review before it reaches the customer.How the approach evolvedI started thinking the answer was "build smarter AI." Wrong. The answer was "build a system that stops AI from improvising." The hard work wasn't in the model. It was in the two months I spent manually curating, tagging, and weighting every precedent in our database. That's the actual moat.Co-founded with Elad Ariely, who I met in the army (I was a combat medic, he was our platoon paramedic). We went from a platoon to a startup.
