What do you think? …

Paul Matveyenka
Hi, Product Hunt. Today, I am launching ExpLink, a complete platform for learning anything. Learning is hard. Let's say, you want to learn some skill. Where to start? What are the prerequisites? How to find a good educational material? Should you pay for it? How to track your progress? For a long time, I’ve been thinking about making learning as simple as in computer games. Real life is the most difficult game ever existed, and a real human is the most sophisticated game character possible. But I believe that with the power of AI, community, and all the knowledge on the internet, it is totally possible to create a comprehensive system to make real life learning a lot more structured and predictable. To achieve that goal, I have created a web platform that currently consists of the 4 main systems: Skills, Schemas, Resources, and Quests. They are very interconnected, but each of them has its own role. Skills are real-life skills, small and large, that a human can possibly learn and become better at. They are added to the system by users, but relations between them are determined by AI. Schemas are subsets of the skill tree, effectively roadmaps, that are provided by users and can be adopted by anyone to know exactly which skills to learn to achieve a certain goal, for example, getting a new profession. Resources is the crowd-sourced database of educational resources on the internet and the physical world. Any user can add a resource or offer information for the already added resource, as well as rate and comment on it. Quests are tasks you need to complete in order to get experience (exp) for your skills and level them up. If you want a deep-dive into how these systems work, or something is unclear or confusing, please visit (https://explink.app/blog/alpha-r...) to learn more. It is still only an alpha version, and there is a lot more to come. Exp allocation formula will probably need to be readjusted a few times, and some skills or other entities may be deleted in the future. Also, you will almost certainly find bugs or errors I am not yet aware of. If you encounter one of them, please, click on your profile button (top right corner of the screen), then select the “feedback” option and write about the problem you discovered. Or you can just email me at the feedback.explink@gmail.com address. If you have suggestions on improving the platform you should send them too (or just leave them here, in the comments), I will be happy to read them. I have a lot of thoughts and ideas about the future of the system, but I will be setting my priorities based on your feedback.
