everytldr helps you follow news written in languages you can't read. It collects articles from foreign outlets, writes concise AI summaries in your language (English and Korean today), sorts them by category, and always links back to the original source. Skim the feed, search by topic, and decide which stories deserve a deep read. Free, no sign-up — with anonymous likes and threaded comments for light discussion.

translated a few Korean tech articles with this and the summaries were actually coherent, not just keyword soup. love that it keeps the original link right there.
Saving translations or summaries to a personal reading list would be huge, especially with email digests in your target language for the days you don't check the feed.
the korean feed is actually super useful for catching tech news i would have missed, and i like that it always links back to the source so i can verify before sharing anything
honestly this is a really clever idea, the source attribution is what makes it trustworthy in my book. one thing that would push it further for me is letting users pick their own category buckets beyond the defaults, like maybe a custom tag for "tech policy" or "kpop news" so the feed actually reflects what i care about instead of broad sections.
Would love a "compare summaries" view that shows how two different outlets covered the same story side by side, especially useful for seeing how framing shifts across languages and regions.
Skimmed through it and the Korean to English summaries actually held up well, no awkward phrasing. Love that it just dumps the feed without making me sign up for anything.
