As a big unhook for youtube fan, I really appreciate that these features can now be extended to other social media apps. I had to totally get off other social media cos they just ended up becoming too much of a time sink. Will try it with your extension and see if I can find a middle ground to use those sites in ways that benefit me and not the app makers! @jayanthr I'm glad to find someone who also used Unhook! I wanted to make something a bit simpler and more versatile on other sites, so I hope you enjoy! That Unhook settings page would just sometimes get unwieldy, but if there are more features you wish my app had, don't hesitate 👊🏼

@sepnorouzi Great question. I've used News Feed Eradicator for years, but I found the quotes kind of annoying over time and also wanted more control specifically over YouTube with sidebar and endscreen suggested videos. Additionally, opening a new tab every time you want to show your feed was a slightly annoying process. I find Escape the Algorithm is a lot more seamlessly integrated into your browsing experience with its simple buttons that make less of a statement than a motivational quote and can easily be toggled on/off without adding new tabs.
