Hi Product Hunt! I built Equation Encyclopedia because I spent too much of my time at uni hunting for the right formula rather than actually understanding it. Notes everywhere, different textbooks for different modules, no single place that had everything organised properly.
So I built one.
Equation Encyclopedia brings 2,000+ verified formulas into one place, each with full derivations, step-by-step rearrangements, intuitive explanations, and real-world context. It covers 14 subjects from secondary through to university level, mapped to 42 exam boards across 22 countries.
The thing I kept noticing was that AI solves the wrong problem for students. It gives you the answer. That does not help you remember anything. So instead of building another AI answer tool, I built 50+ active recall games with XP, streaks, and leaderboards because that is how memory actually works.
A few things I am particularly proud of:
The formula depth. Every equation has derivations, rearrangements, mnemonics, and practice problems, not just the formula itself.
The coverage. 42 exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, IB, AP, CBSE, and more. Available in 19 languages.
The honesty. Every formula is verified. No hallucinations, no guesswork before an exam.
