EML Tool started as a small frustration: someone sends you a .eml or .msg file, and suddenly you need Outlook installed just to read one email. Web "converters" exist, but uploading private correspondence to a random server felt wrong — email files are exactly the kind of data that shouldn't leave your machine.
So everything in EML Tool runs 100% locally in your browser: open the file, read the message, pull attachments, export to PDF, HTML or CSV. Drop a file with the network tab open — nothing gets uploaded, there is no server to send it to.
The viewer is free, no sign-up. Pro is one-time, never a subscription: $19.99 is a 24-hour batch pass (unlimited EML→PDF runs for a day, made for clearing one backlog), $39.99 is lifetime. Mostly used by folks archiving mailboxes for legal or accounting reasons.
