I think it's great that you allow access to the interface without requiring sign-ups!
Emery seems super intuitive as well. Quick question: Is there a way to link a note to a task? I couldn’t find it!

Congrats on the launch, and all the best!

Denis Chernobai

@morgane_prrĀ Hey, thanks so much!

Glad you like the no-sign-up access and find Emery intuitive.

Right now, there's no way to link a note to a task, but it's something we're planning to add soon! Appreciate you checking it out and for the kind words.

Cheers! šŸš€

Loving the zero-friction approach especially the no-signup start. That "collections" feature sounds perfect for my chaotic workflow. Excited to give emery a spin! :)

Denis Chernobai

@jonwesselinkĀ Thanks so much! Glad you’re loving the zero-friction approach – no-signup just makes things easier, right? Hope Emery helps bring some order to the chaos! šŸ˜„ Let us know how it goes! šŸš€

I use Notion to organize my time like this. But I appreciate the clean interface and that everything is in one page.
Some small questions/feedback:

  • On the right side of the app, can we also view more than a day? For example the whole month?

  • If not, I would appreciate a "This month" tab.

  • I would also like to not automatically create a new task when i press enter on the one just created.

  • Can we add tags to tasks? For example for priority at least.

  • Can I add a little for info for a task instead of only its title? Maybe some rich text to (like a URL)

Very cool and minimal app, congrats!

Denis Chernobai

@deffroĀ  Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback! Really glad you like the clean interface and the all-in-one-page approach.

  • Right now, the right-side view focuses on a daily perspective, but adding a ā€œThis Monthā€ tab is a great idea—we’ll definitely consider it!

  • Totally hear you on the Enter key behavior. We’ll look into making that smoother.

  • Tags for tasks (like priority) and the ability to add more details (like rich text or URLs) are both great suggestions. They’re on our radar!

Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and thanks again for the kind words! šŸš€

@denis_chernobaiĀ I am happy to help. Will be checking often and try to switch from my already set up Notion to Emery.

Alexander Winter

Managing tasks, notes, and calendars in one interface sounds like a productivity dream! How does Emery differentiate itself from existing tools like Notion or Asana? Would love to hear more about its unique features.

Denis Chernobai

@alexander_winterĀ Great question!

Unlike Asana, Emery is built for personal productivity. I’ve personally tried using Asana for that, but constantly assigning tasks to myself felt like a small yet annoying extra step. Plus, Asana lacks calendar integration, which is a big miss for solo productivity.

As for Notion, you could set up something similar to Emery—but only if you make a hobby out of it, spending hours configuring a system with calendar integration, a day-by-day view, and everything else.

What makes Emery different is our clear daily focus. Instead of managing an endless task list, we help you go through your days one by one—more like a paper daily planner but in a digital, seamless experience.

Would love to hear your thoughts! šŸš€

Eugenie Svintsova

@alexander_winterĀ Thanks for the question! I would like to add that I personally love Emery for its collections feature. It lets me keep all my notes, tasks and events in one view for each project I'm working on. For example, as a student I keep all the information about my dissertation, lecture notes, meetings with the supervisor, important thoughts, milestones and deadlines just in one place. It gives me a complete picture of all my work progress.
