My wife and I have been using and PAYING FOR Emeals for over 3 years now at $5/month. We picked the meal plan that we wanted (for us it was Paleo for 2) and through the iPhone app, every week we got a shopping list and recipes for us to make. It's amazing, easy, and the recipes are delicious. Things like Blue Apron seems too much like an expensive luxury to me and I actually enjoy going to the grocery store so this is perfect. Have recommended it to tons of friends that now use it, especially with families. Too often ya waste $$ because you don't go to the grocery store with a plan. This sends you a delicious plan every week. I love finding recipes on pinterest but matching that all up and making a list for it is a lot of work.
Thanks for posting, @thorpus (Justin).
I haven't tried this yet, but definitely plan to. I was diagnosed with a plethora of food allergies (nut, wheat, milk, egg, yeast, gluten, etc...) about 6 months ago and since then it's been close to impossible to find something (that tastes good) that I can eat. I look forward to utilizing this site.
I had looked at this as I was researching a food project and ran into the issue that you have to choose only one style of meal planning, and you can only switch once a month. I wouldn't mind a couple of crockpot recipes during the month, but I wouldn't want a month of them. So I never renewed.
I may be an odd case but I like a wide variety in the meals we try. We've done the ingredient plans, meal planning and I even was paying someone to collect new menu ideas for me each week that I could choose from.
